CONNETIX Pastel Ball Run Expansion Pack 80pc

The CONNETIX Pastel Ball Run Expansion Pack is an 80-piece magnetic ball run set in pastel colours, designed to help children aged 3+ build bigger and more exciting runs. With exclusive spiral and double-bowl pieces plus new tube shapes, it challenges young engineers to explore motion and gravity in new ways.

What's in the box

• 48 x Connecting squares
• 2 x Double bowls
• 6 x Right angle tubes (90 degree bend)
• 6 x U-shaped tubes (180 degree bend)
• 8 x Spiral tubes
• 2 x X tubes
• 8 x Wooden balls

Why kids love it

• Spiral tubes send balls twirling down – great for eye tracking
• Double-entry bowls let two children race and play together
• X tubes redirect and pivot the action for surprise routes
• Clear, fluted tubes show every twist and turn as balls zoom through

What it helps develop

Ball runs turn physics into play. Children experiment with gravity, speed and cause and effect, testing angles and heights to keep balls moving. When a run stalls, they troubleshoot and rebuild – developing problem-solving, persistence and early engineering thinking. The double bowls also encourage turn-taking and collaborative play.

FAQs

Do I need other packs to use this?
This expansion includes connecting squares, tubes and wooden balls, and is designed to extend your ball run. For the biggest builds, pair it with the Pastel Ball Run, a Base Plate Pack and the 62 piece Starter Pack.

Does it work with Bright ball run pieces?
Yes. Every CONNETIX pack connects with every other, so Pastel and Bright ball run pieces can be mixed in the same build.

How many children can play with it?
The double-entry bowls are made for shared play, so two children can race balls side by side.
