CONNETIX Pastel Shape Expansion Pack 48 pc

The CONNETIX Pastel Shape Expansion Pack is a 48-piece magnetic tile add-on featuring exclusive shapes in CONNETIX's earthy pastel colours. Designed for children aged 3+ who already have a set, it adds new shapes that open up more detailed 2D and 3D designs.

What's in the box

• 48 magnetic tiles in total
• Large triangles and right-angle triangles
• Quarter circles
• Pentagons
• Trapezoids and rhombi

Why kids love it

• Quarter circles become winding roads, castle domes, or pizzas and pies to share
• Large right-angle triangles make sturdy rocket fins and car ramps while adding support
• Trapezoids and rhombi tessellate into large hexagons, flowers and butterflies
• Pentagons let older builders take on the challenge of a dome

What it helps develop

This pack was curated to deepen mathematical understanding. Children explore fractions by sharing quarter circles, measurement, location and transformation as they rotate and flip shapes, and tessellation as pieces fit together. It's a strong add-on for STEAM learning that grows with children as their play becomes more complex.

FAQs

Do I need other packs to use this?
It's an expansion pack, so it's best paired with a set that has squares and standard triangles, such as the CONNETIX Pastel Starter Pack or Pastel Creative Pack.

Does it work with Bright or Rainbow tiles?
Yes. Every CONNETIX pack connects with every other CONNETIX pack, so pastel and bright tiles mix freely.

What age is it best for?
It's safety tested for ages 3+. The new shapes really shine as children get older and start building more detailed designs and exploring maths ideas like fractions.
