What's in the box

• 8 x Large portals
• 8 x Standard portals
• 32 x Mini squares
• Inspiration book

Why kids love it

• Open-frame portals have magnetic connection points on both the inner and outer edges
• Three square sizes nest inside each other for layered, colourful designs
• Mini squares use Smart Spin technology, with magnets that rotate up to 360 degrees
• Build houses, spacecraft, quirky faces, tunnels and kaleidoscopes of colour
• A unique tactile feel that kids and adults both enjoy

What it helps develop

Nesting and framing pieces invite children to explore balance and stability, pattern recognition and design. Working out how portals and mini squares fit together builds spatial reasoning and problem-solving, while open-ended play supports MESH skills like emotional regulation and perseverance.

FAQs

Can the Portal Pack be used on its own?
Yes, it's an open-ended pack with three sizes of square to build with, and it also adds new ways to connect to an existing CONNETIX collection.

Does it work with my older Rainbow tiles?
Yes. CONNETIX Rainbow packs have been updated as Bright, and every CONNETIX pack connects with every other, including Pastel.

What are the portals?
Portals are open-frame square tiles. Because they have magnetic connection points on the inside and outside edges, other tiles can sit within them as well as around them.
